The Capuchins

The Capuchins

The Order of Friars Minor Capuchin were founded in Italy in the 1520s as a reform of the Franciscan Order. The Capuchins sought to work closely and directly with those who have been marginalized and disempowered. Capuchins can be found around the world ministering in soup kitchens, hospitals, on the streets and in parishes and schools.
